Youth Programs

The Pinehart Foundation’s youth programs grew out of a desire of fathers to complement the education young men receive at home and at school. Our goal is to serve families by helping parents in their efforts to guide their sons to the highest ideals lived out both personally and professionally.

We strive to make our youth programs an opportunity where boys and young men can develop life skills, form strong friendships and discover the joy of cultivating good habits. We encourage everyone who participates in these programs to engage the world around them with confidence and competence.

A pathway of programming has been developed to provide age-appropriate activities and formation for boys and young men.

Explorers helps boys 4-6 years old discover what is good in the world around them in close partnership with their father. The father-son bond is strengthened as they build this foundation together.

North Star helps boys 7-12 years old identify the high ideals in life worth pursuing. Through friendship with their peers and their father, they develop a vision for their life and a clear image of the man they want to become.

Navigators helps young men 13-15 years old equip themselves with the habits of character needed to freely pursue excellence. The good and true that they have discovered in life are intentionally sought out and cultivated within themselves. Self-mastery is forged with friends in order to live a happy life and be of service to others.
